Hello,
Thanks for reaching out to us.
To add material to material library in designer, refer to the following steps:-
*Go to Material Editor (F5): Press the "F5" key on your keyboard to open the Material Editor. This is the interface where you manage materials in your project.
*Click on Library: Once you're in the Material Editor, find and click on the "Library" tab. This tab typically contains options related to managing material libraries.
*Ensure a Library is Created: Look for the location in the library where you want to add your material. If there isn't already a library created for this purpose, you'll need to create one.
*Add Library (if necessary): If there's no suitable library in the library, click on the "plus" icon (often represented as a + symbol or labeled "Add Library"). This action adds a new library or folder where you can organize your materials.
*Go back to Scene Tab & Right-click on Your Material: Locate the material you want to add to the library in the Material Editor. Right-click on the material to bring up a context menu of options.
*Select "Add to Material Library": From the context menu, choose the option labeled "Add to Material Library". This action initiates the process of adding your material to the library.
*Choose Library: A pop-up window will appear, prompting you to choose the library in which you want to add your material. Select the appropriate library from the available options.
*Rename and Add Description: After selecting the library, you'll typically have the opportunity to rename your material and add a description if desired. This step helps you organize and identify your materials more effectively.
*Confirmation: You should receive a confirmation message or indication that your material has been successfully added to the library.
Now, your material is successfully added to the library and can be accessed and used as needed in your project.
Hope this resolves your query!
